Tutoring

Tutoring is a guidance and instructional activity that takes place in a one-to-one setting. It is usually provided by someone with greater knowledge or experience, such as a teacher, tutor, or coach. The tutee may be an adult, child, student or patient.

Tutoring can take place in person and/or online. Online tutoring is also known as distance learning via the Internet. Online tutoring can be synchronous (two way) or asynchronous (one way). Synchronous online tutors are often called "live" online tutors because they are teaching at the same time as their students and can answer questions immediately. Asynchronous online tutors are often called "recorded" online tutors because they teach at different times from their students and answer questions

Tutoring is a form of teaching in which a tutor provides individualized instruction and guidance to one or more students.

The need for tutoring stems from the fact that some children learn better from an individual who is more knowledgeable than their parents, or who has specific expertise in the subject at hand.

There are many reasons why someone might want to hire a tutor. Your child might be struggling with academics, for example, and you want them to get the best education possible.

Some people may be looking for some extra help with their own studies, while others may have different learning styles that make it difficult to succeed in school without additional assistance.
